Chiefs lead 10-3 at halftime in Kansas City

If the Raiders want to win at Arrowhead Stadium for the second consecutive year, they will have to rally.

Mahomes led the Chiefs to the Raiders' 7-yard line on the first drive of the game, but two incompletions forced them to settle for a field goal from Matthew Wright. The Raiders responded with a field goal of their own after a punt exchange, but Daniel Carlson missed.

Mahomes' touchdown pass to Justin Watson late in the second quarter broke a 3-3 tie, and the Chiefs maintained their 10-3 lead into halftime from 56 yards out to provide the Chiefs with a short field on their drive for a score.

After forcing a punt with one minute remaining, the Chiefs regained possession of the ball, and a throw to DeAndre Hopkins from 34 yards out helped set up a 59-yard attempt by Wright, but he missed it.

In addition to connecting with tight end Travis Kelce six times for 63 yards, Mahomes is 15-of-24 for 192 yards. On one of those catches, Kelce lateraled the ball to running back Samaje Perine, who gained 10 yards to assist Watson in scoring his score.

In his comeback, Raiders quarterback Aidan O'Connell is 8-of-12 for 107 yards, with all eight completions coming on passes to tight end Brock Bowers and wide out Jakobi Meyers.
